Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing Communications Specialist at MegaPay (Pvt) Ltd. - Pay&Go. The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing marketing communications and developing strategic communication plans. Day-to-day tasks include creating and distributing press releases, coordinating public relations activities, and implementing marketing campaigns.
Remunerations: Rs.40,000 to 55,000
Location : Kirulapone, Colombo 05
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication plans aligned with company objectives.
Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, email campaigns, websites, blogs, and press releases.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
Manage social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and community engagement.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Measure and analyze the performance of marketing communication efforts and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing communication strategies.
Qualifications
Experience in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications
Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
Ability to create and distribute Press Releases
Experience with Public Relations coordination
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience in the payment industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
