Responsibilities
o Plan and execute internal audits of financial and operational processes.
o Assess internal controls and identify areas of risk or non-compliance.
o Develop and update audit programs and checklists.
o Review accuracy and integrity of financial records, reports, and statements.
o Evaluate compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
o Identify risks and propose practical, value-added solutions to mitigate them.
o Test the design and operational effectiveness of financial controls
o Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports with actionable recommendations.
o Present findings to senior management and assist in follow-up audits.
o Monitor adherence to internal financial policies and external regulations
o Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen internal controls.
o Work closely with finance, accounting, and operational teams.
o Liaise with external auditors during annual audits
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (required or strongly preferred):
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably within the finance department of a medium to large organization.
• Experience in external auditing or consulting is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
• Objective and independent in judgment.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferably retired person from Banks or any other government institutes.
