Location: Homagama, Colombo (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate
Work with MySQL databases to design efficient queries and ensure smooth data management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues
Ensure adherence to coding best practices and security guidelines
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Java and PHP (mandatory)
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks
Expertise in MySQL databases, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications:
Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus
