About the role

We are seeking a talented and reliable Chef to join our hotel located in the heart of the Udawalawa tourist zone.

Position: Chef /cook

Location: Udawalawa

Hotel Name : Kottawatta River Banak Resort/Kottawatta Village

Salary: Starting from LKR 100,000 (Negotiable based on experience – higher packages for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the operations of the hotel restaurant

* Prepare meals according to the à la carte menu and ensure consistent quality

* Manage kitchen operations and maintain high hygiene standards

* Handle costing of purchases and ensure effective stock management

* Deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction

Requirements

============

* Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a chef (hotel/restaurant background preferred)

* Strong skills in menu preparation and kitchen management

* Knowledge of food costing and inventory control

* Passionate, creative, and able to work under pressure

* Team player with good communication skills
