We’re looking for a talented and motivated Head Chef to lead our restaurant and kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and update menus with creative, seasonal, and cost-effective dishes.
Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain inventory and ensure the procurement of quality ingredients within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor and manage food costs, portion control, and kitchen efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to align kitchen goals with overall business objectives.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar environment.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in asian and western kitchen.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
- Creative and innovative mindset for menu development.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency during high-volume service.
- Solid English skills in writing and speaking
