About the Role:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Front Office / Housekeeping Assistant Manager to assist in managing the daily operations of a hospitality property located in Mirissa. This is a full-time, on-site resident position, ideal for someone passionate about guest service and hotel operations.
Candidate Profile / Requirements
• Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in front office and/or housekeeping in a hotel, villa, or guest house
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest relations
• Ability to manage staff and daily operational tasks
• Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala
• Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Must be willing to work as a full-time, on-site resident manager
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee front office operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries
• Supervise housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Coordinate staff schedules and daily duties
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
• Monitor room status, maintenance issues, and inventory
• Ensure excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations
• Support management with administrative tasks and reporting
