Wasanthaye Mahagedara (Pvt) Ltd is a growing Sri Lankan wedding and groom-wear brand specializing in premium traditional wedding attire, Nilame dressing services and groom styling.
As we continue to strengthen our digital presence and create high-quality visual content for our brand, we are looking for an experienced, highly creative Videographer & Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are not simply looking for someone who can operate a camera.
We need a creative visual storyteller with a colourful eye — someone who can identify beautiful moments, interesting angles and engaging content opportunities and turn them into professional, attention-grabbing social media content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shoot high-quality creative video content for the brand.
- Capture customer feedback and testimonial videos professionally.
- Create engaging wedding, fashion and lifestyle-related video content.
- Produce creative Reels, TikTok, Facebook & Instagram videos.
- Plan shots, angles, lighting and visual concepts independently.
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos.
- Handle colour correction / colour grading, music, transitions, subtitles and effects.
- Develop fresh content concepts suitable for the Wasanthaye Mahagedara brand.
- Follow current social-media trends and adapt them creatively to our content.
- Maintain a consistent premium visual identity across video content.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Previous professional experience in Videography & Video Editing.
- Strong practical knowledge of DJI Osmo Pocket and DSLR / Mirrorless Cameras.
- Excellent video editing skills.
- Strong understanding of framing, lighting, composition and camera movement.
- A strong creative and colourful visual eye is essential.
- Ability to turn ordinary situations into attractive and engaging content.
- Good understanding of short-form video, especially Reels & TikTok.
- Ability to work independently from concept to final edit.
- Passion for wedding, fashion and lifestyle content will be an advantage.
