Lakmini International (Pvt) Ltd, a reputed software development and digital marketing company established in 2012, is looking for creative, trend-aware, and talented Content Writer to join our growing team.
We specialize in developing high-quality mobile and web applications for clients around the world. As part of our digital content team, you will be responsible for creating engaging Sinhala scripts for social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels.
The ideal candidate should have strong Sinhala writing skills, a good understanding of social media trends in Sri Lanka, and the ability to turn trending stories, news, viral posts, photos, events, and ideas into engaging storytelling scripts.
**Key Responsibilities**
Write creative Sinhala scripts for social media videos, short-form content, and YouTube videos
Monitor trending content on Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
Convert viral topics, stories, photos, events, and news into engaging scripts
Research topics using Sinhala and English sources
Suggest fresh content ideas based on current trends
Work closely with the content, marketing, and production teams
Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and suitable for digital platforms
Maintain consistency and complete assigned tasks within deadlines
**Requirements**
Good Sinhala writing and storytelling skills
Basic to good English knowledge for research purposes
Strong understanding of Sri Lankan social media trends
Interest in news, politics, history, lifestyle, and viral content
Ability to identify trending topics and convert them into creative scripts
Knowledge of social media policies, community guidelines, and content safety
Ability to work under deadlines with consistency and creativity
**Additional Advantages**
Previous experience in content writing, media, or digital marketing
Experience with social media monitoring tools
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other research tools
Knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and digital content strategies
Ability to write scripts for voiceovers, reels, and short video content
**Working Details**
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (9.00AM - 5.30PM)
Location: Pannipitiya, Colombo
