We are expanding our Pastry & Bakery Division and are looking for a talented and motivated Commis II Pastry Chef to join our growing team. If you have a passion for desserts, creative presentation, and consistent quality, we would love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bakery items
Follow recipes, portioning standards, and production schedules
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
Support senior pastry staff with daily mise-en-place
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
Proper handling and storage of ingredients and equipment
Assist in inventory control and daily production reports
Requirements
1–2 years’ experience in a pastry kitchen (hotel, restaurant, or bakery)
Good knowledge of basic pastry techniques (creams, sponges, mousses, doughs)
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a professional team
Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn
Flexibility to work morning/evening shifts
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
