Grand Chancellor Kitchens, a premium pastry and bakery brand, is looking for a talented and experienced Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our professional pastry kitchen team.
Position: Chef de Partie – Pastry Section
Work Location: Grand Chancellor Kitchens – Colombo 6
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily pastry kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow under Pastry Chef
• Prepare a wide range of cakes, pastries, desserts, and bakery items
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
• Assist in recipe standardisation and new product development
• Monitor portion control, wastage, and stock usage
• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
• Train and guide junior pastry staff
• Coordinate with production and service teams to meet daily orders
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a professional pastry kitchen
• Strong skills in cake finishing, dessert preparation, and baking techniques
• Ability to manage production under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Leadership ability with a positive and disciplined attitude
• Formal pastry qualification will be an added advantage
