We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to manage customer payments and financial transactions in our jewelry showroom. The cashier will handle high-value transactions, provide excellent customer service, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers courteously and support sales staff during billing
• Accurately process cash, card, bank transfer, and digital payments
• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and warranties for jewelry items
• Handle high-value transactions with strict attention to detail
• Maintain daily cash records and reconcile cash drawer
• Coordinate with sales staff and accounts department
• Ensure proper documentation for gold, gem, and jewelry sales
• Follow company security, safety, and confidentiality policies
• Assist in stock tagging or basic inventory records when required
Requirements & Skills
• Previous experience as a cashier (jewelry or luxury retail preferred)
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Honest, reliable, and able to handle confidential information
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting is an advantage
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
Education
• Minimum GCE O/L or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge
Working Conditions
• Full-time / Shift-based work
