Branch Manager – Malabe Head Office Branch

Wasanthaye Mahagedara (Pvt) Ltd, a leading and growing premium brand in Sri Lanka’s wedding and traditional attire industry, is seeking an experienced, sales-driven and digitally capable Branch Manager to lead our Malabe Head Office Branch.
We are looking for a manager who can take full responsibility for branch operations, lead the sales team, achieve monthly sales targets and effectively manage both traditional and digital sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the Malabe Head Office Branch.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the branch team to achieve monthly sales and performance targets.
• Take responsibility for increasing branch sales and improving overall business performance.
• Ensure all customer inquiries received through walk-ins, telephone calls, WhatsApp and social media are handled professionally and converted into bookings.
• Monitor customer follow-ups and ensure potential sales opportunities are not missed.
• Manage and monitor digital leads generated through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other online marketing channels.
• Work closely with the management and marketing team to effectively implement promotions, offers and marketing campaigns.
• Monitor lead quality, customer responses, conversions and sales performance generated through digital marketing activities.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and professionally handle customer complaints or concerns.
• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, productivity and individual performance.
• Train and guide staff to improve customer handling, follow-up and sales conversion skills.
• Ensure showroom presentation and overall branch standards are maintained at a premium level.
• Monitor bookings, customer payments, outstanding balances and branch-related records.
• Ensure proper control and handling of company inventory and other assets.
• Prepare and submit required daily, weekly and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Identify weaknesses in branch performance and take appropriate action to improve results.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
• Age between 30–40 years.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Branch Management, Showroom Management, Retail Management or a similar managerial role is mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge and experience in Sales & Marketing is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing is mandatory.
• Good understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business and other digital platforms used for business and customer engagement.
• Ability to manage leads and inquiries generated through digital advertising and convert them into bookings/sales.
• Good understanding of promotions, offers, marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.
• Ability to analyse sales, leads, follow-ups and conversion performance and take action to improve branch results.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Strong customer handling, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Email, Google Drive and basic digital/office applications.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling, reporting, stock and inventory control.
• Ability to take responsibility, make decisions and work independently with minimum supervision.
• Candidates residing in Malabe or surrounding areas will be given preference.

We are not looking for someone who only supervises a showroom.
We are looking for a sales-focused, marketing-minded and digitally capable Branch Manager who can take ownership of the Malabe Head Office Branch, lead the team, actively follow up on every sales opportunity and consistently improve branch sales and overall performance.
