Billing Officer
## Job Summary
-The Billing Officer is responsible for preparing and issuing accurate invoices, maintaining billing records, processing payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal departments.
## Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and issue invoices, bills, and credit notes accurately and on time.
* Verify billing data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Process customer payments and update billing records.
* Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and customer inquiries.
* Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
* Reconcile billing transactions with financial records.
* Generate billing, collection, and revenue reports for management.
## Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
