Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor the recovery team to achieve monthly collection KPIs.
Design and execute strong debt recovery strategies and workflows.
Analyze portfolio performance, identify risks, and take corrective action.
Maintain full compliance with regulatory and ethical collection standards.
Deliver continuous training and feedback to strengthen team performance.
Build strong negotiation and relationship-management practices with clients.
Prepare timely recovery and performance reports for management.
Work closely with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in debt recovery/credit collections.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven experience in achieving targets in a competitive environment.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is an advantage).
Solid understanding of recovery laws, credit procedures, and collection systems.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with loan management/CRM systems preferred.
