Organization: Institute of English Studies Maharagama (IESM)
Job Vacancy – Female Candidates Only
Working Hours:
• Monday & Wednesday: 9.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m.
• Tuesday: 10.00 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.
• Saturday: 6.45 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
• Handle front office duties including receiving parents, students, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer and manage phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and emails related to admissions, payments, and general inquiries.
• Maintain student records, registration details, attendance, and documentation accurately (manual and digital records).
• Assist with student admissions, course registrations, and issuing receipts and confirmations.
• Coordinate class schedules, teacher timetables, and classroom arrangements.
• Support academic and management staff with daily administrative tasks.
• Prepare letters, notices, circulars, and official communications as required.
• Maintain payment records and coordinate with the accounts section for fee collections and updates.
• Update databases, Excel sheets, and internal systems with student and staff information.
• Assist in organizing examinations, assessments, competitions, and special events.
• Ensure proper filing, record keeping, and confidentiality of institutional documents.
• Monitor office supplies and coordinate with suppliers when necessary.
• Follow institute policies and support smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum G.C.E. (A/L) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in an administrative or office role will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email handling).
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Friendly, responsible, and professional attitude.
