The GSH City Hotel in Colombo managed by a leading Australia-based hotel chain, GMT Hotel Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is in search of talented young individuals with the right attitude for below positions.
Accounts Executive
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our hotel operations team.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in hotel or hospitality accounting
• Sound knowledge of hotel accounting systems, income audit, and financial controls
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Good understanding of cash handling, banking, and reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle daily accounting operations including cash, credit card, and bank transactions
• Perform income audit and verify daily revenue reports
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Conduct bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations
• Assist in budgeting, audits, and statutory compliance
• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to company financial procedures
• Coordinate with front office and other departments on financial matters
The suitable applicants should possess the following skills and attributes:
• Excellent organization skills.
• Be a team player with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent Command in English and foreign languages will be an advantage.
