Vacancy Announcement – Accounts Assistant
Adams Tyre Industries (Pvt) Ltd, a well-established tyre manufacturing company, is looking for a self-motivated and responsible individual to join our Finance Division as an Accounts Assistant.
Position: Accounts Assistant
Location: Mawanella / Factory Office
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily accounting operations and documentation.
Enter and update transactions in accounting systems.
Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and filing systems.
Assist in preparing bank reconciliations, debtor/creditor reports, and schedules.
Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments when necessary.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of work.
Required Qualifications
Added Advantages (Not Mandatory but Preferred)
✔ Part qualification in AAT / CASL / CMA
✔ Experience in accounting data entry or administrative accounts work
✔ Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks / ERP systems)
✔ Knowledge in inventory management & cost control
✔ Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Personal Attributes
Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
Honest, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Good team player with a positive work attitude
