📌 Accounts Assistant
💰 Salary & Benefits:
* Starting salary from Rs. 55,000 or more based on qualification and experience
* Review in three months
📍 Location: Jaffna Town (Near the bus stop)
Requirements:
* University final-year students or recent graduates(Commerce Stream - BBA, Bsc, B.Com) are encouraged to apply
* Proficient in using various accounting software and well-versed in computer skills, including MS Office Excel
* Exhibit the ability to work independently and take initiative
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Available to work from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 07:30 PM
Educational Qualifications:
* Minimum of an A grade in GCE A/L Accounting
* Minimum of an A grade in GCE O/L Maths
* We are looking for someone who can develop their skills and work for a longer term
Job Role:
* Prepare statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Create year-end working files and statutory accounts for limited companies
* Generate accounts for sole traders and partnership businesses
* Handle quarterly Value Added Tax (VAT) preparation and finalization (equivalent to GST)
* Manage payroll processing efficiently
* Undertake ad hoc bookkeeping tasks as required
* Deliver results within tight deadlines
