Job Opportunity: Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team.

Job Location: Avissawella /Akkarawissa

Salary: LKR 100,000 – 120,000 per month

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Partly qualified accountants (ACCA/CA Sri Lanka) are preferred.

Experience:

• 1 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of two years’

experience in an audit firm (mandatory).

• Experience in handling full accounting cycle, bank reconciliations, and financial

reporting.

• Resort or hospitality accounting experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

• Assist with budgeting, audits, and tax compliance.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or any).

• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation /WHT/PAYE and statutory tax requirement.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
