We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting the company’s overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle Sri Lankan tax compliance, including:
o VAT
o SVAT
o PAYE/APIT
o Corporate Income Tax
o Withholding Tax
o ESC (if applicable)
• Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with IRD Sri Lanka requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS)
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
• Monitor cash flow and financial controls
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Part qualification or full qualification in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA (preferred)
• Minimum [2] years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws and IRD procedures
• Experience in tax filing and compliance submissions
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

• Experience handling tax audits
• Familiarity with payroll processing in Sri Lanka
