Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Assistant to support the finance team with daily accounting tasks, billing, reconciliations, and financial record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and petty cash.
Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and departmental accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close tasks.
Support billing and patient account queries; coordinate with clinical departments.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Assist with payroll data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reporting.
Prepare basic financial reports and assist auditors as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years’ experience in accounting or finance; healthcare experience a plus.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and MS Excel.
Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred:
Accounting certification (e.g., ACCA foundation, AAT) or similar.
Experience with hospital billing systems.
