Accounts Assistant
Requirements & Qualifications
• Passed G.C.E. (A/L) exam & part qualification of AAT or Equivalents.
• Minimum 1-2 years work experience. (Audit experience is an added advantage)
• Computer literacy (Ms. Word. Ms. Excel and email)
• Should possess sound knowledge of Accounting Packages
• Age below 35 years.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Communication & teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining accurate financial records & accounting documents.
• Processing invoice, payments, receipts.
• Maintaining accounts payable & receivable records.
• Supporting taxes statutory filling process.
• Maintaining accurate financial records & documents.
• Supporting audit by providing requited financial information.
Accounts Assistant (Male)
Key Responsibilities
• Ledger Control: Maintain and monitor the debtors ledger to track outstanding balances accurately.
• Debt Recovery: Follow up on pending payments and ensure collections are made on time.
• Field Collections: Visit client locations for payment collection (riding license to motor bikes required).
• Banking & Finance: Knowledge of daily banking functions. Provide support for general accounting duties.
Requirements & Quali_cations
• Education: Successful completion of G.C.E. A/L.
• Professional: At least a part quali_cation in a professional accounting body (e.g., AAT, ICASL, or CMA).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounts department.
• Software Skills:
o Good computer literacy in MS Office.
o Experience in using accounting packages will be a distinct advantage.
• Must possess a valid riding license for motor bikes.
• Applicants below 35 years.
• Candidates from Maharagama, Kottawa, Homagama, Mattegoda or close by are preferred.
