About the Role

Temptastic is looking for creative and skilled Part-Time Video Editors to join our growing team. We work with local and international clients across various industries, creating high-quality, engaging content for social media.

Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into professional, engaging videos.

Create Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, Facebook Reels, and promotional content.

Add smooth transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music where appropriate.

Perform professional color correction and color grading.

Maintain proper storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention.

Follow brand guidelines and client requirements.

Deliver projects within the assigned deadlines.

Make revisions based on client feedback when required.

Requirements

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.

Strong understanding of short-form content and current social media trends.

Good sense of storytelling, timing, and visual composition.

Ability to communicate professionally and respond promptly.

Reliable internet connection.

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Motion graphics and basic animation.

Sound design and audio enhancement.

Creative transitions and effects.

Thumbnail design (optional).

Selection Process

All applicants must complete a 3-video selection round using footage provided by Temptastic.

Footage and project briefs will be provided.

Each video must be submitted for review.

Wait for approval before proceeding to the next video.

Final selection will be based on creativity, storytelling, pacing, editing quality, color grading, sound design, originality, and the ability to follow client requirements.

Payment

Payment is made per approved video.

Starting rate: LKR 2,000–2,500 per video, depending on the project and quality.

Rates increase based on performance, consistency, and long-term collaboration.

Performance bonuses may be awarded for exceptional work.
