This is a full-time, on-site Preschool Teacher role based in Pelawatte, Battaramulla. The Preschool Teacher will design and facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Daily responsibilities : planning and delivering preschool lessons, preparing learning materials, organizing classroom activities, and supervising children during both instructional and playtime periods. Additional tasks include ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues and administrators, and participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Qualifications : Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education, including knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for preschool or kindergarten-level children.
Ability to teach and support Kindergarten readiness skills in alignment with the school’s learning objectives.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori education or NVQ Level 4 Qualification.
Prior experience working in a preschool, Montessori, or daycare setting is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom, support diverse learning needs, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
