Are you passionate about 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦? Do you have a knack for planning and excellent communication skills? We are looking for a key team member to join us as a Travel Operations Executive (𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲!).
Role: As a core part of our startup team, you will handle the heartbeat of our operations:
• 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Manage inquiries via Email, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp with professionalism and speed.
• 𝐈𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Create custom travel itineraries and prepare quotations for international clients.
• 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Contact hotels and service providers to secure the best rates and availability.
• 𝐀𝐝-𝐡𝐨𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: Assist with various operational tasks as we grow the business.
Salary & Benefits:
• 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲: LKR 15,000 - 20,000 (Based on experience).
• 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: An attractive commission will be paid for every tour confirmed.
Work Arrangement:
• 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 (𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞).
• Requirement: Must be willing to travel to our physical location (Colombo) for meetings or specific tasks upon request (approx. 1-4 days per month or as needed).
What We Are Looking For:
• 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐯𝐲: Comfortable using Email, MS Office, and Social Media tools.
• 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞: Self disciplined to work remotely and eager to learn.
• 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: Previous experience in Tourism is a BIG plus, but we are happy to train the right Intern/School Leaver.
