Key Responsibilities:
Production Assistance: Prepare doughs, pastries, cakes, and fillings following recipes and strict quality standards.
Station Setup & Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
Inventory Control: Assist with receiving, organizing, and monitoring baking ingredients and inventory levels.
Learning & Development: Actively learn plating techniques, decoration skills, and equipment handling from pastry chefs.
Team Support: Support senior staff with, banquets, and daily pastry production needs.
Requirements:
Passion for baking, pastry arts, and professional kitchen experience.
Basic understanding of baking techniques and sanitation practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions.
Currently enrolled in a culinary arts program or a recent graduate is preferred.
Typical Tasks:
Preparation: Measuring ingredients, kneading dough, rolling pastry, and making creams.
Decoration: Assisting in decorating cakes and plating desserts.
Cleaning: Maintaining workstations, washing equipment, and managing waste.
