STEEL FABRICATION TECHNICIAN

💠 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 :

Certificate, Diploma, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in steel fabrication and welding

Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings

Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Arc Welding techniques will be an added advantage

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good physical fitness and willingness to work at project site

Experience in structural steel fabrication projects (Preferred)

Familiarity with fabrication tools, machinery, and safety procedures (Preferred)

Valid driving license will be an added advantage (Preferred)

💠 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐬 :

Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and project specifications

Measure, cut, drill, grind, and assemble steel components accurately

Perform welding, fitting, and fabrication work for steel structures and assemblies

Ensure fabricated products comply with quality and safety standards

Carry out repairs and modifications to existing steel structures when required

Operate fabrication machinery, welding equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently

Support site installation and commissioning activities as required

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment
