SHOP MANAGER WANTED
(FRESH MILK DISTRIBUTION & RETAIL OUTLET – ATHURUGIRIYA)
A newly established fresh milk collection, distribution, and retail business is looking for a responsible and energetic Shop Manager to manage the daily operations of our main outlet located in Athurugiriya.
The business involves daily collection of fresh milk from suppliers, bulk distribution to customers, and retail sales to nearby residents. Future expansion into other dairy products is also planned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the milk collection, storage, distribution, and retail outlet.
- Coordinate early morning receipt and handling of fresh milk deliveries.
- Ensure proper storage, hygiene, and quality control of milk products.
- Handle retail sales and customer service at the shop.
- Maintain daily sales records, stock records, and basic accounts.
- Supervise shop assistants and support staff.
- Coordinate bulk orders and deliveries to identified customers.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the outlet and storage facilities.
- Support overall operations and future expansion activities of the business.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) or equivalent.
- A diploma in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in retail shop management, FMCG, dairy, hospitality, or similar fields is preferred.
- Ability to work early morning hours and manage time-sensitive operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of stock handling and cash management.
- Honest, responsible, and self-motivated individual.
- School leavers with strong leadership potential and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

- කිරි නිෂ්පාදන නිසි පරිදි ගබඩා කිරීම, සනීපාරක්ෂාව සහ තත්ත්ව පාලනය සහතික කිරීම.
- එදිනෙදා විකුණුම් සහ පාරිභෝගික සේවය හසුරුවීම
- දෛනික විකුණුම් වාර්තා, තොග වාර්තා සහ මූලික ගිණුම් පවත්වා ගැනීම
- වෙළඳ සහායකයින් සහ සහායක කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය අධීක්ෂණය කිරීම
- තොග ඇණවුම් සහ බෙදාහැරීම් සම්බන්ධීකරණය කිරීම
- අලෙවිසැල සහ ගබඩා පහසුකම් පිරිසිදුකම සහ නිසි ලෙස නඩත්තු කිරීම සහතික කිරීම.
- සමස්ත මෙහෙයුම් සහ ව්යාපාරයේ අනාගත ව්යාප්ති ක්රියාකාරකම් සඳහා සහාය වීම.
අවශ්යතා:
- අවම සුදුසුකම්: අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ (උසස් පෙළ) හෝ ඊට සමාන.
- ව්යාපාර කළමනාකරණය, වෙළඳසැල් කළමනාකරණය හෝ අදාළ ක්ෂේත්රයක් පිළිබඳ ඩිප්ලෝමාවක් අමතර වාසියක් වනු ඇත.
- වෙළඳසැල් කළමනාකරණය, FMCG, කිරි නිෂ්පාදන, ආගන්තුක සත්කාර හෝ ඒ හා සමාන ක්ෂේත්රවල පෙර අත්දැකීම් අමතර සුදුසුකමක් වේ.
- අලුයම වැඩ කිරීමට සහ කලට වෙලාවට මෙහෙයුම් කළමනාකරණය කිරීමට ඇති හැකියාව.
- ශක්තිමත් නායකත්වය, සංවිධානාත්මක සහ ගැටළු විසඳීමේ කුසලතා.
- හොඳ සන්නිවේදනය සහ පාරිභෝගික සේවා කුසලතා.
- තොග හැසිරවීම සහ මුදල් කළමනාකරණය පිළිබඳ මූලික දැනුම.
- අවංකව වගකිවයුතු ලෙස කටයුතු කිරීමේ හැකියාව.
- ශක්තිමත් නායකත්ව හැකියාවක් සහ ඉගෙනීමට කැමැත්තක් ඇති පාසල් හැර ගිය අය ද අයදුම් කිරීමට දිරිමත් කරනු ලැබේ.
