Sales Assistant — Male/Female

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Sales Assistant to join our team at Elegant Trading Company.

Requirements

* G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) qualification

* Spoken knowledge of Tamil

* Basic knowledge of Sinhala and English is an added advantage.

* Basic computer literacy

* Reliable, punctual and responsible

* Hardworking with a positive attitude

* Willingness and ability to adapt to new processes and ways of working

* Previous retail experience is an advantage, but not required

Responsibilities

* Assisting customers and providing friendly service

* Operating the POS system and handling basic sales transactions

* Keeping the store clean, organized and presentable

* Arranging and organizing products

* Packing orders and preparing goods

* Assisting with stock and basic store tasks

* Supporting the team with daily operations as needed

Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is responsible, willing to learn and able to adapt as our processes develop.
