Ceylon Academy of Gemmology Science (CAGS) is looking for creative and research-driven professionals to join our Research & Development Department.
The selected candidates will help us understand customers, improve educational programmes, develop new services, and create innovative marketing ideas.
Key Responsibilities
◆ Research customer needs and expectations
◆ Study existing customer behavior and feedback
◆ Identify new market and education trends
◆ Develop new courses, services, and learning programmes
◆ Improve existing educational products and customer experiences
◆ Support marketing campaigns with research and insights
◆ Conduct competitor and industry research
◆ Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations
◆ Test new ideas and measure results
◆ Work with marketing, academic, sales, and management teams
◆ Suggest innovative solutions for business growth
◆ Support customer retention and loyalty programmes
Qualifications & Skills
◆ Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Education, Research, Management, or a related field
◆ Experience in research, marketing, education, customer service, or business development
◆ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
◆ Good understanding of customer behavior
◆ Excellent English communication and report-writing skills
◆ Creative, curious, and open to new ideas
◆ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and online research tools
◆ Ability to collect, organize, and analyse information
◆ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
◆ Experience in surveys, data analysis, or market research will be an advantage
