Position Overview
Agro Lanka Sea Food (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee seafood processing operations at our facility. The role involves supervising production staff, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining product quality standards, and coordinating logistics and dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily seafood processing activities including receiving, cleaning, cutting, sorting, packing, and cold storage handling.
Ensure all operations comply with GMP standards, hygiene requirements, and company procedures.
Inspect incoming seafood and confirm quality acceptance based on freshness, condition, and company standards.
Ensure only approved quality seafood products are processed and dispatched.
Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of the processing area and equipment.
Supervise and coordinate processing workers and support staff to ensure efficient operations.
Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to ensure timely dispatch of seafood orders.
Maintain accurate records related to production, quality checks, and dispatch activities.
Use basic technology or systems to support inventory tracking and operational reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum GCE Advanced Level (A/L) qualification required.
Experience in the seafood or food processing industry is strongly preferred.
Prior supervisory experience in a processing or production environment is an advantage.
Familiarity with GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards is desirable.

Basic computer or technology skills for operational reporting.
