GTC Converters (Pvt) Ltd., a trusted name in the printing and packaging industry for offering premium value-added services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning & Control Assistant to support our operations and ensure smooth workflow from job receipt to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans in coordination with the Operations Manager
• Issue, track, and control job cards across all production processes
• Maintain accurate records of jobs in the system, ensuring end-to-end tracking from receipt to dispatch
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors to ensure jobs move as per plan
• Track work-in-progress (WIP), delays and if needed, update customers on the status of their jobs
• Support timely dispatch of completed jobs by coordinating with stores and logistics
Requirements
• Needs to be under 35 years of age
• Credit Passes (or higher) in Math and English for O-Levels.
• Living in Gampaha district is preferred
• Proficient in basic computer operations, including Microsoft Excel
• Needs to be a dynamic individual with strong coordination skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to be factory-floor oriented, not desk-bound.
• Previous experience in production planning, production control, or job coordination will be a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in a company operating in the printing & packaging industry is a plus.
