VACANCY – PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR – PLASTIC
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented individual to handle used plastic materials / PET bottle sourcing and supplier coordination island-wide for recycling purposes, ensuring a continuous supply of materials to meet production targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Source, negotiate, and purchase used plastic materials/PET bottles for recycling from local suppliers, collectors, vendors and businesses.
• Ensure continuous supply of plastic materials/PET bottles to meet production requirements.
• Negotiate prices, quantities and delivery terms in line with company targets.
• Coordinate with collection teams to arrange timely collection and delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier details and daily collection reports.
• Ensure purchased materials meet company quality standards.
• Travel island-wide to identify new sources of used plastic materials and maintain strong supplier networks.
REQUIREMENTS
• G.C.E. A/L qualification or Diploma/professional qualification in Procurement will be an added advantage.
• 2–4 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, preferably in recycling, waste management plastic or PET material sourcing will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet procurement targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field-based conditions.
• Motorcycle or vehicle with a valid Sri Lankan driving license required.

ප්රධාන වගකීම්
• ප්රතිචක්රීකරණය සඳහා භාවිත කළ ප්ලාස්ටික් ද්රව්ය / PET බෝතල් දේශීය සැපයුම්කරුවන්, එකතුකරන්නන්, වෙළෙන්දන් සහ ව්යාපාරික ආයතනවලින් සොයාගෙන, මිල ගණන් සාකච්ඡා කර මිලදී ගැනීම.
• නිෂ්පාදන අවශ්යතා සපුරාලීම සඳහා භාවිත කළ ප්ලාස්ටික් ද්රව්ය / PET බෝතල් අඛණ්ඩව සැපයීම සහතික කිරීම.
• සමාගමේ ඉලක්කවලට අනුකූලව මිල, ප්රමාණ හා බෙදාහැරීමේ කොන්දේසි සාකච්ඡා කිරීම.
• එකතු කිරීමේ කණ්ඩායම් සමඟ සම්බන්ධ වී ද්රව්ය නියමිත වේලාවට එකතු කිරීම හා ප්රවාහනය කිරීම සම්බන්ධීකරණය කිරීම.
• මිලදී ගැනීම්, සැපයුම්කරුවන්ගේ තොරතුරු සහ දෛනික එකතු කිරීමේ වාර්තා නිවැරදිව පවත්වාගෙන යාම.
• මිලදී ගන්නා ද්රව්ය සමාගමේ තත්ත්ව ප්රමිතීන්ට අනුකූල බව තහවුරු කිරීම.
• නව භාවිත කළ ප්ලාස්ටික් ද්රව්ය ප්රභවයන් හඳුනා ගැනීම සහ ශක්තිමත් සැපයුම්කරුවන්ගේ ජාලයක් පවත්වාගෙන යාම සඳහා දිවයින පුරා සංචාරය කිරීම.
සුදුසුකම්
• අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ (G.C.E. A/L) සමත් වීම. ප්රසම්පාදන ක්ෂේත්රයේ ඩිප්ලෝමාවක් හෝ වෘත්තීය සුදුසුකමක් තිබීම අමතර සුදුසුකමක් ලෙස සැලකේ.
• ප්රසම්පාදන හෝ මිලදී ගැනීම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් වසර 2–4 ක පළපුරුද්ද. ප්රතිචක්රීකරණය, අපද්රව්ය කළමනාකරණය හෝ ප්ලාස්ටික් ද්රව්ය / PET ද්රව්ය ප්රසම්පාදනය පිළිබඳ පළපුරුද්ද අමතර වාසියක් වේ.
• ශක්තිමත් සාකච්ඡා කිරීමේ හා සන්නිවේදන කුසලතා.
• ස්වාධීනව කටයුතු කර ප්රසම්පාදන ඉලක්ක සපුරාලීමේ හැකියාව.
• දිවයින පුරා නිරන්තර සංචාර සඳහා සහ ක්ෂේත්ර මට්ටමේ සේවයට සූදානම් වීම.
• වලංගු ශ්රී ලාංකික රියදුරු බලපත්රයක් සමඟ යතුරුපැදියක් හෝ වාහනයක් තිබීම අනිවාර්ය වේ.
