We are seeking a skilled and experienced Goldsmith to design, manufacture, repair, and finish gold and precious metal jewelry. The ideal candidate should have strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and knowledge of traditional and modern jewelry-making techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Design and create gold and precious metal jewelry according to specifications
Melt, cast, shape, and solder gold and other metals
Repair, resize, polish, and restore jewelry items
Set gemstones accurately and securely
Ensure quality, weight accuracy, and purity standards
Maintain tools, machines, and a clean work area
Follow safety procedures while handling tools and chemicals
Work with designers, sales staff, and customers when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Goldsmith or Jewelry Maker
Knowledge of gold purity (18K, 22K, 24K) and gemstones
Skilled in hand tools and jewelry-making equipment
Ability to read designs and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
Honest, reliable, and quality-focused
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years experience preferred
Traditional or modern jewelry-making experience is an advantage
