🛑OPERATIONS MANAGER
(Wine Import & Distribution Company – Sri Lanka)
We are a well-established wine import and distribution company seeking a dynamic and
experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage our daily operations and supply chain
activities.
✅Key Responsibilities:
👉Manage end-to-end operational activities including imports, warehousing, and
distribution
👉 Coordinate with suppliers, clearing agents, and logistics partners
👉Ensure compliance with Excise Department, Customs, and other regulatory requirements
👉Oversee inventory management, stock control, and documentation
👉Supervise operational staff and ensure efficient workflow
👉 Prepare operational reports and support management decision-making
👉 Maintain quality, cost control, and timely delivery standards
🟢 REQUIREMENTS:
🔮Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in operations management (experience in liquor/wine
industry will be an added advantage)
🔮Sound knowledge of import procedures, logistics, and regulatory compliance in Sri
Lanka
🔮 Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
🔮 Excellent communication skills in English (Sinhala/Tamil will be an advantage)
🔮 Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting
🔮 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
🔴 QUALIFICATIONS:
♦️ Degree or professional qualification in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain,
or a related field
♦️ Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
