We are looking for a proactive MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join Vivasa Lanka Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will handle MEP project costings and coordinate with site teams, with a good understanding of piping, drains, communication lines, and VRV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and bills of quantities for MEP projects
Monitor project costs and maintain accurate budget tracking
Assist in procurement, purchasing, and vendor coordination for MEP materials
Support site teams by understanding VRV systems, piping, plumbing, drain lines, and communication lines
Coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly
Prepare and maintain project documentation including variation orders, cost reports, and payment certificates
Requirements:
Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, MEP, or related field
Knowledge of piping, drains, communication lines, and preferably VRV systems
Prior experience as an MEP QS is an advantage, but candidates with general MEP knowledge can be trained on VRV systems
Good understanding of procurement and site coordination processes
Strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills
