Position Overview:
The Logistics Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations, supporting shipment scheduling, and ensuring accurate logistics documentation for domestic and export activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining communication between drivers, operations, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient and timely movement of materials. The position also provides operational and administrative support to improve workflow and overall logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and dispatch daily logistics activities, including pickups, deliveries, and shipment scheduling.
• Monitor and follow up on shipment status to ensure timely execution and communication with all parties involved.
• Support HMS export operations, including coordination and tracking of export-related logistics activities.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain logistics and shipping documentation, including packing lists and related operational records.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding scheduling and operational updates.
• Assist with logistics-related data entry, filing, and administrative tasks.
• Provide operational support to different departments when additional logistics coordination is required.
• Identify and proactively communicate operational issues or delays that may impact workflow efficiency.
• Maintain organized records of shipments, dispatch activities, and transportation documentation.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation coordination, or a related operational role.
• Experience handling shipping documentation and logistics coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication in English and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow up on tasks proactively.
• Basic knowledge of export logistics and transportation processes is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and external partners.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Monthly Rate: $500.00 CAD - $700.00 CAD
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule based on Vancouver, BC, Canada (Pacific Time)
