VACANCY – LEGAL OFFICER
Japlan Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, a leading company engaged in importing agrochemicals, consumer items, and Medical diagnostic Equipment is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Legal Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle company legal matters and provide legal advice to management
• Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies
• Liaise with external lawyers, courts, and government authorities
• Handle labor law–related and HR legal matters when required
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Attorney-at-Law qualification or LLB degree recognized in Sri Lanka
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and corporate law
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
