IT ASSISTANT – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
🔹 Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
🔹 Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
🔹 Troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems (LAN/Wi-Fi/Internet)
🔹 Perform system updates, backups, and antivirus checks
🔹 Monitor and maintain POS systems and office IT infrastructure
🔹 Assist users with software installations and technical support
🔹 Maintain IT inventory and documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
✔️ Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
✔️ PC repair knowledge is a must
✔️ Basic network troubleshooting knowledge is a must
✔️ Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office
✔️ Knowledge of printers, CCTV, routers, and network devices is an added advantage
✔️ Good communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues efficiently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
✔️ Diploma or certificate in IT / Hardware / Networking
✔️ Previous experience in an IT support or IT assistant role will be an advantage
