The Role
As an Internal Audit Executive, you will play a critical role in conducting independent, risk-based audits with a specialized focus on finance-related processes. You will be the "eyes and ears" of the management, ensuring that branch-level financial controls are robust and that our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed to the letter.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Auditing: Execute audits on petty cash, COD handling, accounts receivable/payable, revenue recognition, and bank reconciliations.
Fraud Detection: Proactively identify irregularities, document manipulation, suspicious billing patterns, and potential financial misconduct.
Operational Reviews: Conduct surprise branch audits and verify the authenticity of reimbursements, fuel bills, and vendor invoices.
Risk & Compliance: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure all activities align with company SOPs and Group governance.
Reporting: Prepare factual, evidence-based audit reports and provide practical recommendations to bridge process gaps.
Follow-up: Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to ensure identified weaknesses are permanently resolved.
Qualifications & Experience
A Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Business Management. Part qualification in CA, CIMA, ACCA, or AAT is highly advantageous.
Proven experience in internal audit, finance, or compliance reviews.
Experience in fraud investigation is a plus.
Sound understanding of internal controls, invoicing processes, and financial reconciliation.
