We are a newly established Inbound Tourism Company in Sri Lanka, focused on delivering high-quality, personalized travel experiences for international tourists. As we build our operations from the ground up, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Inbound Tourism Executive / Coordinator to grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound B2C travel inquiries from international travelers via email, WhatsApp, social media, and website
- Actively contact and communicate with foreign tour operators and travel agents (B2B) via email, phone, and online meetings
- Develop and maintain B2B partnerships with overseas tour operators and travel agencies
- Prepare customized itineraries and quotations for both B2C clients and B2B partners
- Negotiate rates and coordinate with hotels, transport providers, guides, and other suppliers
- Follow up on quotations, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, and close sales
- Coordinate end-to-end tour operations to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain records of B2B contacts, client databases, costing sheets, and booking trackers
- Ensure excellent pre-tour, on-tour, and post-tour customer service
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in inbound tourism or a travel agency
- Good knowledge of Sri Lanka destinations, hotels, and tour planning
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Ability to handle WhatsApp & email communications professionally
- Basic skills in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to grow with a startup
