🟥Agro Lanka is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Export Sales Executive to expand our international seafood footprint, manage global buyer relationships, and drive export volume growth.
🔰Key Responsibilities:
✅International Sales & Business Development: Identify and onboard new global buyers, distributors, and food service clients in key international markets.
✅Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing overseas buyers, handling inquiries, providing accurate quotations, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
✅Export Documentation & Compliance: Coordinate end-to-end export shipping documentation (including Certificates of Origin, health certificates, and customs paperwork) ensuring 100% compliance with international trade laws.
✅Logistics Coordination: Partner closely with internal Operations and Logistics teams to ensure seamless product packing, cold-chain integrity, and timely freight forwarding (air and sea).
✅Market Intelligence: Monitor global seafood market trends, competitor pricing, and international trade regulations to identify new growth opportunities.
‼️Requirements:
☑️Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (Minimum GCE A/Ls with strong corporate experience considered).
☑️Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in an export sales or export documentation role, preferably within the seafood, perishable goods, or food and beverage export industry in Sri Lanka.
☑️Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. High commercial acumen and attention to detail.
☑️Tech: Proficient in MS Excel for pricing models and sales reporting, along with basic experience using ERP systems.
☑️Languages: High fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a distinct advantage.
🛑Preferred Attributes:
♦️Familiarity with international seafood grading, packing standards, and shipping terms (INCOTERMS).
♦️Understanding of food safety and traceability documentation (e.g., HACCP, EU/US FDA compliance).
