Job Overview
We are a well-established entertainment destination in Wattala seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our restaurant operations. This role requires a hands-on culinary leader who can drive food quality, menu innovation, kitchen efficiency, and team performance while delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full kitchen operation, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation
Design, develop, and cost innovative menus aligned with the venue’s entertainment concept
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Control food costs, minimize waste, and manage inventory and supplier relationships
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and workflow
Collaborate with management on promotions, events, and special menus
Monitor kitchen KPIs, customer feedback, and continuously improve performance
Requirements
Minimum 7–10 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Head Chef / Executive Chef)
Strong experience in multi-cuisine or entertainment-driven restaurant environments
Proven ability to manage large kitchen teams under pressure
Excellent knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and supplier management
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Passion for quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction
Culinary qualifications or professional training will be an advantage
