Planet First Consultants, a Sri Lankan Owned UAE-based sustainability consultancy, is looking for a motivated and talented Sustainability Consultant / Sustainability Analyst to join our team and work remotely from Sri Lanka.
We work with clients in the UAE, GCC, and international markets, helping businesses address their environmental and sustainability challenges.
This is an opportunity to work on real-world sustainability projects, learn international standards and methodologies, and develop practical expertise across different areas of sustainability.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
Has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Sustainability, Energy, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory)
Highly motivated and genuinely interested in sustainability
Curious and committed to continuous learning
A quick learner who can understand new concepts and apply them
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Strong in research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
Proficient in written and spoken English
Comfortable using AI tools and modern digital technologies to research, analyse information, improve productivity, and solve problems
Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in sustainability, environmental science, carbon accounting, LCA, ESG, or related fields will be an advantage, but experience is not the most important factor.
We are more interested in your ability to learn, think, adapt, and grow.
Your Work
You will support our consulting team in delivering sustainability projects for clients across different industries.
Depending on your skills and interests, you may work on areas such as:
Carbon accounting and GHG emissions
Carbon footprint assessments
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
ESG and sustainability reporting
EcoVadis assessments
Climate-related projects
Environmental management and sustainability standards
Sustainability research and data analysis
