Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our hotel kitchen team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of local and international dishes.
* Plan menus and develop new recipes.
* Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety regulations.
* Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary.
* Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff.
* Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
* Work closely with the restaurant and front office teams to meet guest requirements.
* Handle special dietary requests and food allergies professionally.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel or restaurant.
* Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
