Position: Cashier

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to handle daily transactions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth checkout experience while maintaining proper financial records and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
Maintain accurate records of transactions.
Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
Assist customers with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.
Report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Follow company policies and financial procedures.
Requirements
G.C.E A/L qualification.
Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is an advantage.
Basic mathematical and computer skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
Preferred Skills
Experience using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good language skills (English and Sinhala; ).
