• Greet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries.
• Scan items and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Collect payments by cash, credit cards, or other methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of the shift to ensure balances are correct.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and refer to the manager when necessary.
• Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
