Job Summary

We are seeking a sharp and professional Cashier to manage high-volume transactions for our wholesale grocery operations. This role is strictly focused on transaction accuracy, payment processing, and providing high-level service to our commercial clients at the checkout station.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management: Process bulk sales through POS systems, handling cash, credit, and corporate accounts with 100% accuracy.

Data Entry & Verification: Ensure that bulk quantities and wholesale codes are entered correctly to maintain inventory integrity.

Cash Reconciliation: Perform daily till openings and closings, ensuring all tallies match the POS transaction reports.

Professional Inquiry Handling: Act as the final point of contact for clients, resolving pricing queries and providing detailed tax invoices.

Administrative Upkeep: Maintain a tidy workspace and manage digital or paper filing of wholesale receipts.

Requirements & Skills

Education: A-Levels are a mandatory requirement for all applicants.

Experience: While we value experience, candidates with a strong track record in retail or high-volume cash handling may have further educational qualifications waived.

Mathematical Precision: Strong mental arithmetic to quickly verify bulk pricing, discounts, and VAT calculations.

Technical Literacy: Proficiency with modern Point of Sale (POS) software and basic computer systems is essential.

Soft Skills: A calm demeanor, high integrity, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced commercial environment.
