Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and bake a variety of items (bread, buns, cakes, pastries, etc.)
• Follow recipes and ensure consistent quality and taste
• Decorate cakes and baked goods attractively
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and baking area
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering
• Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
• G.C.E. O/L or A/L qualification
• Certificate/Diploma in Baking or Hospitality (preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a baker or pastry assistant
• Knowledge of baking techniques and oven handling
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Good teamwork and time management skills
• Basic communication skills in English (Tamil/Sinhala is an added advantage)
