Food Studio is a leading culinary and hospitality group based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, operating across leading malls food courts, standalone outlets, and food production verticals including event caterings.
We are looking for a high-energy, organized, and skilled Chef to take command of our catering and event operations. This role is designed for a culinary professional who excels at managing large-scale food production across multiple locations while maintaining artisan quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Event Oversight: Manage cooking and preparation for large-scale events and outdoor catering orders. Ensure food is ready on time and consistent in quality.
* Bulk Production: Lead the Mise-en-place (pre-prep) for multiple locations — ensuring all ingredients are chopped, marinated, and ready for high-volume cooking.
* Quality Control: Maintain strict food safety (HACCP) standards and brand standards.
* Kitchen Management: Lead a team of junior chefs and helpers. Manage task delegation and ensure the kitchen stays clean and organized during busy events.
REQUIREMENTS
* Experience: 5-7 years in a banquet or large catering kitchen.
* Education: A professional culinary diploma or degree is required.
* Skills: Ability to cook multiple cuisines and handle large-scale food quantities.
* Mindset: Ability to work long hours during events and lead a large team.
